Today’s episode of Jhanak begins right where we left off. After standing up against her in-laws, Jhanak is seen sitting alone in her room, gathering her thoughts. The mood is heavy but calm—until the doorbell rings. A woman dressed in a pale yellow saree enters the scene. No one knows her. Her expression is firm. Her eyes are focused.
Devyani opens the door and is immediately taken aback. The woman asks for Jhanak. Her tone is cold. “Tell her Sulekha is here,” she says.
Who Is Sulekha? A Stunning Revelation
The family gathers in the hall as Jhanak walks out, confused but composed. She doesn’t recognize Sulekha. But Sulekha knows everything about Jhanak—from her school days to her time in the orphanage.
“You don’t remember me, do you? I promised your mother I’d watch over you. But I failed.”
The room goes silent. Anirudh looks on, stunned. Sulekha continues:
“Your mother didn’t die in an accident. She was murdered.”
Gasps echo through the hall. Jhanak’s legs weaken. Anirudh supports her as she stares at the stranger in disbelief. The past she thought was buried long ago suddenly resurfaces.
Devyani Doubts Her Motives – “Why Now?”
Devyani, who never misses a chance to cause drama, immediately questions Sulekha’s timing.
“Why appear now? Why didn’t you come before?”
Sulekha glares at her.
“Because now, the killer is back in town. And he’s someone you know.”
The tension shoots up. Jhanak, though shaken, gathers her strength. She looks Sulekha in the eye.
“If you’re telling the truth, then help me find justice. Not just for me, but for my mother.”
Anirudh Takes Control – “We’ll Get to the Bottom of This”
Anirudh decides to take matters into his own hands. He promises Jhanak that together, they will find out the truth.
“I believe you, Jhanak. And we won’t let your mother’s killer go free.”
The episode ends with Sulekha handing over an old photograph of Jhanak’s mother with a man whose face is scratched out.
