In today’s powerful episode, Jhanak steps into a new role as a school teacher under a false name, determined to rebuild her life with dignity and independence. But while she finds hope and freedom, a sinister force from her past — Tejas — returns in disguise, threatening her safety once again. Meanwhile, Anirudh watches from the shadows, torn between love and responsibility.

Jhanak’s First Day As A Teacher – A New Beginning

The episode opens with Jhanak walking nervously through the narrow lanes of a modest neighborhood in Kolkata. Clad in a soft cotton saree and carrying a worn-out jhola, she approaches a small NGO-run school for underprivileged children. This is the start of her new identity — “Aanya Mukherjee.”

As she steps inside, the camera captures the hopeful glimmer in her eyes. It’s a new day. A new life.

She’s greeted by the school principal, Mr. Dutta, a kind man in his late 50s, who says:

“Aanya ji, welcome. We don’t have much here, but the children will love you. They need a teacher who can teach from the heart.”

Jhanak nods, holding back tears. She walks into her small classroom filled with eager faces and sits on the floor among the children. Her first lesson is on Rabindranath Tagore’s poem “Where the Mind is Without Fear.” Her voice, though soft, captivates the children. One of them says:

“Didi, you sing poems like magic.”

Outside, Mr. Dutta observes and murmurs to a peon:

“This girl… she’s no ordinary teacher. There’s a storm in her silence.”

Anirudh Secretly Watches Her From Afar

As Jhanak teaches inside, Anirudh waits across the street in his car, concealed behind tinted glass. He doesn’t approach her — not yet. But he watches her with pride and pain in equal measure. Through the car window, he sees her laugh with the kids.

“She’s glowing again. That’s all I ever wanted,” he whispers.

In a heartbreaking monologue, Anirudh speaks to himself:

“If I enter her world again, I might ruin her freedom. She needs space… and I need to let her breathe. But God knows, I miss her.”

The Photographer Who Isn’t – Tejas Returns in Disguise

Meanwhile, a luxury SUV pulls up at the gates of the same school later that afternoon. A well-dressed man with a clean shave and modern outfit steps out — it’s Tejas, the man Jhanak once ran from.

But this isn’t the wild, obsessive man from her past. He’s reinvented himself with a new look and a fake identity as “Rajiv Sen,” a photographer for an NGO doing a feature on grassroots education.

He flashes his ID and tells the principal:

“I run a campaign for marginalized communities. We provide free photo sessions and media coverage for rural schools. I’d love to include your school.”

The principal agrees, unaware of his true motives.

As he steps into the school with his DSLR, he pauses for a moment when he sees Jhanak from a distance. His eyes darken, lips curl into a smile. He lifts his camera and clicks — capturing Jhanak, now “Aanya,” in mid-sentence.

“Found you.”

Shrishti Gets Suspicious – And Takes Action

Back at the Bose mansion, Shrishti is on a call with a private investigator who had been tracking Tejas for months.

“Ma’am, one of my men saw a person matching Tejas’s build and voice in the vicinity of South Kolkata. Disguised. He was entering an NGO school.”

Shrishti panics and rushes to Arshi.

“If Tejas is really back, and he gets to Jhanak before we send her away… everything will explode.”

They decide to speed up the plan of transferring Jhanak to Darjeeling permanently.

Anirudh’s Confrontation with His Mother – A Storm Inside the Home

Later that evening, Anirudh walks into the living room only to overhear his mother and Arshi speaking in hushed tones:

“We should send her far away now — to that hostel in Darjeeling. She can’t stay here.”

He walks in, rage filling his voice:

“Enough. This is not a house — it’s a prison for her.”

His mother tries to reason:

“Beta, it’s for her good. And yours. If Tejas finds her again—”

But Anirudh cuts her off:

“The only people hurting her are in this house. Not Tejas. Not fate. You. And me — for staying silent.”

Arshi watches, stunned, as Anirudh walks out, his faith in his family shattered.

Tejas Sends a Message

That night, a courier arrives at the Bose house. It’s addressed to “The Head of the Family.”

Inside is a large envelope containing photographs of Jhanak — teaching, smiling, standing alone — all taken that day.

On one of the photos, in red ink, a circle is drawn around her face. Underneath it, just one line:

“She’s mine. And I’m back.”
